Details Itinerary

Day 1 : YANGON ( Sightseeing )

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport welcome by our local guide and transfer to your Hotel. Sightseeing starts with Yangon Colonial Style city center and enjoy photographing for a panoramic view of city. Proceed to Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument ~ have a memorable scene of colonial building then enjoy lunch at Restaurant. After lunch, visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market for shopping and then we proceed to the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue-72 meters long huge colossal image. In the evening we go to the Kandawgyi Lake for photo taking and then sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, over 2600-years-old gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and land mark of the country. Enjoy sunset at Pagoda. Drive back to hotel and free time at your leisure. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. Overnight hotel in Yangon.

Day 2 : YANGON - MANDALAY – AMURAPUA – SAGAING – INWA (AVA) ( B )

After breakfast, transfer to Yangon Airport for domestic flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival at Mandalay, proceed directly to Amurapura .Visit Mahagandayon Monastery, a famous Buddhist monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhist literature. Then, proceed sightseeing to the former royal capital of Inwa (Ava), reached by a short boat trip. Visits by horse-drawn carriage include Nanmyint Watch Tower, the remains of a palace building nicknamed “leaning tower of Ava”, Mahaaungmye Bonzan Monastery (built of bricks and stucco) and Bargayar Monastery, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. We will have our lunch near Innwa at Local restaurant.After Lunch drive to Sagaing Hills over Ava Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing, once an ancient capital, lies 21 km south west of Mandalay, besides the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing Hills are dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries and meditation centers, a retreat for 6000 monks and nuns. Visit U Min Thonese Pagoda and Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, Enjoy the beautiful sunset at 1.2 km-long U Bein Wooden Bridge built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital. Then transfer to hotel. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. ( Overnight hotel in Mandalay )

Day 3 : MINGUN – MANDALAY (Sightseeing) ( B )

After breakfast, boat excursion (one hour each way) up the Ayeyarwaddy river to Mingun,boat trip is a very pleasant way to see the life a long the river. Tour highlights include: the world’s largest intact bronze bell, 3.7 meters high and weighting 90 tons – the largest uncracked ringing bell in the world. Also visit the huge but unfinished Mingun paya (built with the intention of being the world’s biggest pagoda) and the beautiful Hsinbyume paya, Settawya Pagoda, Myatheindan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces at the base. Then return to Mandalay. After lunch, sightseeing Mandalay to visit Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung ( Golden Palace Monastery), a superb example of a traditional wooden building, and Kuthodaw Pagoda (known as the world’s largest book), consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Sunset at Mandalay Hill , a vantage point for panoramic view of the city. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. ( Overnight hotel in Mandalay. )

Day 4 : MANDALAY – YANGON - THANLYIN (Syrian) ( B )

After breakfast transfer to Mandalay Airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrive to Yangon pick up by our company representative. After check in hotel go for sightseeing to the Thanlyin (Syrian) for one hour drive from Yangon a small town once conquered by the Portuguese people in early 19th century. It is on the other side of Yangon river across Myanmar's longest bridge (Thanlyin Bridge ) and shop at Thanlyin local market . On the way, sightseeing at National Race Village and over 2000-years old Kyikekhauk pagoda, the highest golden stupa in Thanlyin and then go continue to Yelel Pagoda, ( the pagoda at the centre of the river ) . We take a short boat trip to Yelel Pagoda, a long histories pagoda on a small island then transfer to hotel over night at hotel in Yangon.

Day 5 : Yangon Departure ( B )

Today is the last day in Myanmar. After breakfast, you should go shopping for your beloved ones or for yourself at Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market where you can find Myanmar famous gems and jewellary sales centers, Myanmar traditional products such as antiques, wood and jade carvings, cotton and silk fabrics, lacquerware, paintings, silverware, tapestries, slippers, Longyis, souvenir and so on. After lunch at leisure, evening transfer to airport for departure flight.
