Details Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Yangon

Arrival to Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2 : Yangon Sightseeing

In the morning after breakfast in hotel go for sightseeing to the downtown area then, we visit over 2000-years old Sule pagoda and enjoy photographing for a panoramic view of city. Proceed to Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument ~ have a memorable scene of colonial building ,historical Botahtaung pagoda you will see the Yangon River view, enjoy lunch at local Restaurant. After lunch, we proceed to the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue-72 meters long huge colossal image and after that Kabar Aye (World Peace)Pagoda, Maha Pasana Cave and Shwe Taw Myat (Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda) .In the evening we go to the Kandawgyi Lake for photo taking and sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, over 2600-years-old gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and land mark of the country then transfer back to hotel. Overnight hotel in Yangon.

Day 3 : Yangon - Heho - Pindaya - Naung Shwe

Morning transfer to Yangon Airport for domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival in Heho, overland drive to Pindaya (92 km, 2 hours drive) and visit the unique Pindaya Caves, where pilgrims placed thousands of Buddha images over the span of many centuries, Singaung Shan Monastery. Again stop at Ngetpyawtaw village to learn the Local bamboo umbrella making and village, then to Yechansin village to study the Bamboo hat making.And then drive to Naung Shwe. Overnight hotel in Naung Shwe .

Day 4 : Inle Lake Sightseeing

In the morning after breakfast go to Nyaung Shwe Jetty. sightseeing by private boat. Sightseeing includes; a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen. Continue to see the floating gardens, built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Explore in and around the lake by small boat. Learn the life of fishermen, and floating gardens on which fruits, flowers, and vegetables are grown. Visit Nampan market or Ywama floating market or another one (depend on five days’ movement) to watch the colorful minorities of Shan State. Phaungdawoo Pagoda is right in the center of the lake and famous for it’s five shapeless Buddha Images heavily gilded with gold. Then continue to floating village to learn the daily life of Intha people. Visit Silversmith, hand loom weaving in Einpawkone village, and boat making. Ngahpechaung Monastery is one of the famous for its’ well trained jumping cats. Overnight hotel in Naung Shwe.

Day 5 : Indein - Mandalay

Morning excursion to Indein (about 1 hour drive) to see the ancient Bagan + Shan style very old pagodas, built during Bagan Period, passing the beautiful scenery with tall grasses and little water steps. The ruin pagodas, hide in the bushes will give you an impression of you were in the 12th - 13th Centuries ago. In the evening biking near Naung Shwe Village . Overnight hotel in Naung Shwe .

Day 6 : Mingun - Mandalay

Morning after breakfast transfer to Heho Airport for domestic flight to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay airport where your guide will meet and welcome you. After relaxation at hotel we go to Mingun , boat excursion (one hour each way) up the Ayeyarwaddy river to Mingun,boat trip is a very pleasant way to see the life a long the river. Tour highlights include: the world’s largest intact bronze bell, 3.7 meters high and weighting 90 tons – the largest uncracked ringing bell in the world. Also visit the huge but unfinished Mingun paya (built with the intention of being the world’s biggest pagoda) and the beautiful Hsinbyume paya, Settawya Pagoda, Myatheindan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces at the base. Then return to Mandalay. After lunch, sightseeing Mandalay to visit Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung ( Golden Palace Monastery), a superb example of a traditional wooden building, and Kuthodaw Pagoda (known as the world’s largest book), consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Sunset at Mandalay Hill , a vantage point for panoramic view of the city . Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. ( Overnight hotel in Mandalay . )

Day 7 :  Innwa ( Ava ) - Sagaing - Amurapura

Breakfast at hotel. Today we visit an ancient of Amurapura, visit Mahagandaryone Monastery a famous Buddhist monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhist literature, Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself, Tapestry works, Wood carving & bronze castling workshops, Marble carving workshop and silk weaving home cottage. After lunch,proceed sightseeing to the former royal capital of Inwa (Ava), reached by a short boat trip. Visits by horse-drawn carriage include Nanmyint Watch Tower, the remains of a palace building nicknamed "leaning tower of Ava", Mahaaungmye Bonzan Monastery (built of bricks and stucco) and Bargayar Monastery, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. Then, drive to Sagaing Hill over AVA Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Sagaing Hill are dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries and meditation centers, a retreat for 6000 monks and nuns. Visit Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, U Min Thonse Pagoda.And then drive back to Mandalay on the way back to Mandalay enjoy the beautiful sunset at 1.2 km-long U Bein Wooden Bridge built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital. Overnight hotel in Mandalay. .

Day 8 : Mandalay - Bagan

After early morning breakfast, transfer to Jetty around 6 0' clock in the morning. Upon arrival at Bagan in the evening, transfer to Hotel. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. Overnight hotel in Bagan.

Day 9 : Bagan Sightseeing

In the morning after breakfast excursion by car start with Shwezigone Pagoda- built in 1087 by King Anawratha who is the founder of the first Myanmar Empire.Nat ( Sprits ) images can be found within its precincts.Then observe the most venerated Ananda temple, built in 1090. It is the masterpiece of the early style temple architecture of Bagan error. Next must stop see is 66 meters high Thatbyitnnyu temple built in the middle of the 12th century as the highest pagoda on Bagan Plain. Then study 12th century mural painting inside the Gubyaukgyi temple, built in 1113 by princess Rajakumar. After that, visit a local family workshop to watch about the production process of lacquer ware, one of Myanmar's best-known handicrafts. Evening highlights are Manuhar pagoda - built by king Manuhar, probably to portray his life as a POW ( Prisoner Of War ); unfinished Dhamagyi temple - Bagan’s most massive temple built in 1167 AD. Finally, breathtaking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda - most popular sunset-viewing spots in Bagan.Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. Overnight hotel in Bagan.

Day 10 : Bagan Sightseeing

Highlight for today: Lawkhananda Pagoda - look over Ayeyarwaddy river from Bu Paya-pagoda with bulbous dome resembling the ‘ Bu’ or gourd; Dhama Yazaka Zedi – located in Pwasaw village & built in 1196 AD; Nagayon pagoda - a very elegant form with a standing stucco image of Buddha under the hood of a huge naga ( serpent ); Kyansit-tha Umin- where you can see murals painting from the 13th century; Ananda Okkyaung-a brick monastery with 18th century mural paintings; Nathlaung Kyaung - the only remaining Hindu temple in Bagan; Than day Kyar - Buddha Image built with solid sand stones in 13th century; Sulamani Temple - a red brick temple features delicate masonry work; Lawka Teikpan pagoda - quick small in size is of considerable importance owing to fine frescoes and ink inscriptions dated 12 century; Htilominlo Temple - known for its elaborate plaster moldings dated 1211 AD; Nan Paya - ne of the two sand stone temples in Bagan. Finally, breathtaking sunset from Pyat Thet Gyi temple. Lunch and Dinner at decent restaurant. Overnight hotel in Bagan.

Day 11 : Mt .Popa - Salay - Yangon

After breakfast, visit Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano and 60-km south-east of Bagan and 1500-meters high. Well known as the oasis of the central Myanmardry zone and with a shrine dedicated to animist spirits known as “Nats”. Forthe energetic, time to climb 777 steps to a shrine at the top of the volcanicplug accompanied by a crowd of monkeys. This effort will be rewarded many times by the extraordinary panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Popa National Park with dense sandal wood forest and rare species of birds and butterflies,Local market are worth to see. Continue drive to Salay once a religious centerlocated about fifteen miles (20 kilometres) south of Bagan on the bank of the Ayeyarwaddy river.Visit one of the oldest monasteries famous for its finest wood carvings, a huge lacquered Buddha made of bamboo strips and some small temples with interesting mural paintings dating from Bagan area. Then drive back to airport for domestic flight back to Yangon . Arrive to Yangon transfer to hotel. Overnight hotel in Yangon.

Day 12 : Yangon Departure

Breakfast at the hotel.Free and leisure at the hotel until departure for next destination.
